Summer Camp

2017 DATES: July 10-14August 8-11August 21-25

Weeks are open to all riders who are at least seven years old. No riding experience is required to attend. Groups are split by level, so riders will be with others of similar experience. Campers that want to bring thier own horse can arrange to do so for a small fee for the week. Camp runs weekdays from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. The final day of each camp week is our "show off" day. Family and friends are welcome to come out for 2:00PM and watch our riders put on a show of all the things they've learned during their time with us. Don't forget your camera!

Each day consists of two group riding lessons - lots of time in the saddle! Off horse time is spent learning about horses, their care and how to properly handle and tack up. Gearing riders towards being able to do most of the work themselves in a safe envoirnment. Even our arts and craft time is horse realted. The day is full of horses, horses, horses!

Our program is based around the Ontario Equestrian Federation's Rider Levels. So riders work towards being able to do what it required at each level and work their way up. These apply to both their riding and stable management.
